Funeral services for Joe Mayford Stringer, 77, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Promise Land Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Nogalus Prairie. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Stringer was born June 27, 1948 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in Houston.
