Jimmie N. Hutson

Graveside services for Jimmie N. Hutson, 73, of Diboll will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Brother Gary Rowe officiating.

Mr. Hutson was born October 27, 1951 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Lois C. (Vinson) and Robert B. Hutson, and died Sunday, February 23, 2025 surrounded by family and close friends.

Jimmie was a lifelong resident of Angelina County. He worked as an Electrician at Southwest Color and International Paper Company. He loved roping, getting outdoors to hunt, and especially his faithful ’77 Chevy pickup, “Ole Blue”.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Jaclyn Hutson of Willow Park; granddaughter, Natalie Grace Hutson of Willow Park; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Debra Hutson of Houston; sister and sister-in-law, Kathy Hutson and Laurie Brown of Montgomery; sister and brother-in-law, Annette and Brian Blake of Montgomery; nephew, Charlie Blake of San Antonio; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Cody Ryan Hutson.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Blake, Justin Rector, Ryan Rector, Clay Oliver, Casen Rowe, and Caden Rowe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Royce Oliver, James Morgan, Wayne Chance, Greg Doyle, Bit Vance, and Joe Sheddan, Sr.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
