Graveside services for Jerry Lee “Cigarman” Wagstaff, 69, of Nacogdoches will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hebron Cemetery in Broaddus.
Mr. Wagstaff was born August 15, 1947 in San Augustine County, Texas to the late Pauline (Blanch) and Johnnie Wagstaff, and died Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Nacogdoches. Mr. Wagstaff was a truck driver for many years, retiring from G.P. Burrous Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Wagstaff was a member of the Huntington Volunteer Fire Department and the Bluegrass Association. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Jason Stricklin of Athens and Teri and Daniel Dykes of Tyler; son and daughter-in-law, Dakota and Jennifer Wagstaff of Longview; eight grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Neal Wagstaff, Jim and Patrice Wagstaff, all of Jasper, and Randy and Jana Wagstaff of Henderson; sister, May Bass of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amy Wagstaff; sister, Dora Owens; and brother, Larry Wagstaff.
