Funeral services for Jeromy Craig Holt, 34, of Huntington will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Paul Mettlen officiating. Interment will follow at Moral Cemetery in Nacogdoches.

Jeromy Craig Holt passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, just eight days shy of his 35th birthday. Born May 15, 1991, he resided in Angelina County most of his life.

Jeromy worked as a tree feller for most of his adult life. Cutting trees was one of his greatest passions along with hunting, fishing and gardening. He recently picked up a passion for gardening which brought him lots of enjoyment. He wanted so much to be like his “Poppy”. But his greatest passion and fulfillment was being a father and husband. He also enjoyed weekends grilling and spending time with his Moma and his brother, EJ.

Jeromy was a man who lived with unmistakable presence, boundless love for his family, and a spirit that everyone around him could feel. If you knew Jeromy you already know he was loud and proud, one of a kind.

Jeromy is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jessica Grimes; sons, Hayden Holt, Rydder Holt, and Jesse Grimes; daughter, Rilie Grimes; mother and stepfather, Pamela and Randy Tullos; father and stepmother, Billy Edwin “Eddie” and Brandy Holt; grandparents, Joseph “Poppy” Arriola, Anita Martin, and William Holt; brothers and sisters-in-law, EJ Holt and Amy Allen, Bradley and Kelsey Tullos, Randy Tullos, Jr., Hunter and Hailey Holt, Tanner and Emma Holt, Arin and Megan Hardin, Brandon and Melody Hardin, Carter Holt, and Parker Holt; sisters and brother-in-law, Hannah and Hyrum Miner, Savannah Holt, and Pyper Holt; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeromy was preceded in death by his Nene, Elizabeth Arriola; sister, Krysten Arriola; uncle, Jeffrey Arriola; and last but not least his best friend, Dakoda Wayne Lee.

Pallbearers will be E.J. Holt, Arin Hardin, Brandon Hardin, Bradley Goodwin, Hunter Holt, Tanner Holt, Bradley Tullos, and Blake Arriola.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Ulrich, Brandon Waldrep, Stephen Collins, Randal Grimes, Rusty Redd, Trey Adams, Cody Nerren, and Josh Henson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the funeral home in Lufkin.
