Jerold Robert Moore

Jerold Robert Moore, 85, of Pollok died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Private family services will be held in Iowa at a later date.

Mr. Moore was born November 5, 1931 in Gilman, Iowa to the late Ida (Probacco) and George Moore. He served in the U.S. Army and was a meat inspector for the USDA. Mr. Moore was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Janet (Davis) Moore of Pollok; children, Ellen Pee of Pollok, Mary Moore of Huntington, Greg Moore of Clive, Iowa, Judy Sanders of Vancouver, Washington, and Cynthia Moore of Des Moines, Iowa; stepchildren, Charlene Doran of Melbourne, Iowa, Roy Boyles of Toma, Wisconsin, and Donna Rudenbusch of Brookings, South Dakota; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
