Jenny Mosley

Funeral services for Jenny Mosley, 79, of Huntington will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Jackson Colwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery.

Mrs. Mosley was born February 14, 1941 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Lena (Snelson) and Clyde Frank Harris, Sr., and died Saturday, July 11, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Mosley resided in Huntington most of her life. She loved her work at Lufkin State School, where she worked for 40 years. Her favorite times were at the beach and her hunting camp with family. She had many friends and good neighbors, and special friends who will remember her sweet nature and generous spirit. Mrs. Mosley was a member of Harmony Odell Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Dean Mosley and Kris Fickbohm of Huntington; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Damon Hildebrand of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rhonda and Mark Hough of Lufkin; grandchildren and spouses, Shana Patrick, Jacob and Amy Mosley, Ethan Mosley, Brie Fickbohm, Ashley Bailey, Tatum and Elizabeth Hildebrand, Dagan and Megan Hough, Landan and Jenna Hough; great-grandchildren, Abbie Moore, Knox Mosley, Maren Mosley, Brylie Hough, Carter Hough, and Legend Hough; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Wanda Harris of Huntington; sisters, Rebecca Harris of Austin and Cyndi Hopson of Huntington; sister-in-law, Sally Mosley of Lufkin; special friends, Sherry and Chris Branch; other special friends in Holly Acres; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Delton “Gene” Mosley; and sister, Peggy Arnold.

Pallbearers will be David Mosley, Ted Lovett, Dagan Hough, Jacob Mosley, Landan Hough, Ethan Mosley, Tatum Hildebrand, and Chad Arnold.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tracy Harris.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning prior to the services.
