Jeffrey Franklin Horton

Memorial services for Jeffrey Franklin Horton, 66, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Horton was born February 2, 1956 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Loretta Marie (Wegner) and Samuel Franklin Horton, and died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his residence. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a truck driver. Mr. Horton loved riding his Harley and loved being a grandpa.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Skylar and Jeremiah Steelman of Lufkin; granddaughters, Madilyn Buster, Makenzie Buster, Brynlee Steelman, and Kamryn Steelman, all of Lufkin; mother, Loretta Horton of Sheridan, Wyoming; brothers and sister-in-law, Calvin Horton of Sheridan, Wyoming and Mike and Tanya Horton of Fullerton, California; sisters and brothers-in-law, Julie and Edward Guerrero of Sheridan, Wyoming and Corrine and Howard Drake of Trout, Oregon; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Horton.
