Jeffery George Arriola

Graveside services for Jeffery George Arriola, 48, of Lufkin will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Moral Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

Jeffery was born August 10, 1976 in Lufkin, Texas to Joseph and Jo Beth (Poe) Arriola, and died Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in Lufkin.

Jeffery’s children and grandchildren were his everything. Spending time with them brought him great happiness. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to hunt and fish, or just sit around a campfire. He spent 20 years building structures all across the United States as an iron worker, where he met and built lifelong friendships with so many people. In his later years he developed a passion for gardening and watching his hummingbirds feed with his beloved dog Snickers.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Blake Arriola and Becca Murphy; daughter and son-in-law, Makenzie Arriola and Stephen Kedrowicz, Jr.; sons, Kade Arriola and Huckson Arriola; grandchildren, Bryson Kedrowicz, Wrenly Arriola and Grayson Kedrowicz; father, Joe Arriola; sisters, Sherrie Malnar, Beverly Terry and Pamela Tullos; the love of his life, Amy Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Beth Arriola; and niece, Kristen Arriola.

Pallbearers will be E.J. Holt, Jeremy Holt, Dennis Wilson, Casey Wilson, Kodee Butler, Michael Smith, Tommy Fenley, and Gunner Kuykendall.

Honorary pallbearers will be his iron worker family, “Brothers of the Hook”.
