Mrs. Wallace was born September 2, 1944 in Jasper, Texas to the late Bonnie (Beard) and Albert C. Romero. She was a graduate of Jasper High School and had resided in Lufkin since 1968.

She was deeply loved in return. Mrs. Wallace nourished people around her with love, faith and strength. She was always ready to give or get a big laugh to lift anyone’s spirits.

Mrs. Wallace had an unwavering faith in God and loved her church. She had been a member of Restoration Worship Center for 25 years, where she served her Lord as a born again Christian. Mrs. Wallace was full of joy for everyone, getting and giving hugs from babies, youth, and adults.

Mrs. Wallace enjoyed her home and taking care of her yard. She had a heart for animals and never missed a chance to rescue lost dogs and cats. Her joys were her two cats, Zippy and Fancy.
