Jason Wayne Gearhart

Funeral servcies for Jason Wayne Gearhart, 44, of Lufkin will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lamar Denby officiating. Interment will follow in Wallace Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Gearhart was born August 28, 1979 in Greensburg, Indiana, and died Saturday, February 17, 2024 in a local hospital.

Survivors include his mother, Judy (Slinker) Rice; stepfather, Robert Rice; siblings and spouses, Dianna and Keith Snyder, Joanna Noel, Allen Andrew Gearhart, Evelyn and James Cruz, Sean and Alex Rice, Aaliyah Rice, Brian Gearhart, Angie Edmondson, and Timothy Gearhart; uncle and aunts, Mark and Diane Gearhart, and Louella Hirschauer; dear friends, Momma Hartsfield and Robert Salazar; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Eugene Gearhart; step-grandmother, Evelyn Morris; and uncles, Moe Gearhart and Tim Hatcher.

Pallbearers will be Doug Deaton, Terry Carroll, James Cruz, Robert Salazar, Keith Snyder, and Michael Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Rice and Robert Rice.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
