James Dan Hester

Memorial services for James Dan Hester, 66, of Apple Springs, Texas will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Hester was born November 19, 1958 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Virginia (Darden) and Henry Nathan Hester, Sr., and died Saturday, August 9, 2025 at his residence.

James had resided in Marysville, Washington prior to moving to Apple Springs, Texas. He retired from Custom Interiors as a Master Woodworker.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol Hester of Apple Springs, Texas; sons, Daniel Darden and wife Yumi Hester of Bothell, Washington, Joshua James Hester of Temecula, California; daughter, Kirsten Fetto and husband David of Tri-Cities, Washington; five grandchildren, Connor Boyd, Brock Hester, Anika Hester, Meghan Hester, Alyssa Hester; brothers, Nathan Hester and wife Annie of Desert Hot Springs, California, Mark Hester of Edmonds, Washington; sister, Michele Hester of Tri-Cities, Washington; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Michael Hester.
