James Edward Bolt, Jr.

James Edward Bolt, Jr., known as Sky Bolt to his biker brothers, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born in Houston, Texas and was 56 years old.

James worked for Baker Hughes-Panametrics Digital Solutions of Houston, Texas for 23 years as Service Technical Leader and Global Trainer.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 by the “Chosen Few” chapter at the American Legion Hall Post 817, 3430 W Cardinal Dr., Beaumont, Texas. Visitation 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Freedom Church, 3603 FM 2108, Lufkin, Texas. Visitation 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

James was a loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. His passions were working, riding motorcycles, going to the beach, and helping people.

James is survived by his wife; Abigale Chavez; sister, Linda Rast; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Richard Capps; nephews, Jeremy and Daniel Rast; one great-niece; and three great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Christine Bolt; and nephews, Aaron and Nicholas Cummings.
