Jacob Patrick Walsh

Jacob Patrick Walsh was born on October 22, 1987 in Phoenix, Arizona to William and Karen Walsh. Jake passed away on March 2, 2024. He was 36 years old.

Jake was preceded in death by his younger brother, Zechariah, and his older brother Ben.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Karen; Ben’s children, Tatum, Benny, and Levi; his sister, Sandy Walsh and her four children, Zach, Marc, James, and Charli; his sister, Hannah and brother-in-law, Jeff Griggs and their four children, Emma, Misthk, Chloe, and Ethan; his sister, Rebekah Walsh and her two boys, Gage and Colton; as well as his sister, Sarah and her husband, Ryan Bowman.

Jake loved taking pictures of his nieces and nephews and spending time with them. He went to countless tennis practices and baseball games with the boys. He would have the kids over to spend the night and hang out with “Uncle Jake or UJ”. He loved to buy them junk food and having quality time was important to him. When Jake bought his dog Fred, the nieces and nephews had competition, as Jake found a companion he loved dearly and took just as many pictures of him.

Jake attended Keltys First Baptist Church and was mentored by many godly men. He was able to serve and help in VBS with sports and games. He dearly loved so many at Keltys and they loved him well. The body of men and women at Keltys stood by Jake’s side through the waves and seasons of his life.

Jake was able to earn an auto mechanic degree and certificate at Cochise College. He also specialized in computer science and spent most of his career working in that field. He enjoyed his recent job at Honda Sterling and met many people who he loved there. Jake was always hard working, with impressive people skills, and the ability to assess and help people in his line of work.

Jacob was meticulous about his appearance and his home. He has always been highly organized. In his spare time, Jake loved to clean. He often cleaned his car and pressure washed. Jake enjoyed shopping the latest technology and footwear online and showing it to dad. He adored his mother and called her or texted her daily. He loved to work out, but especially loved the people at his gym, Fit and Firm.

Jake had a special way of making people laugh and his humor was so unique to him. He was so kind and enjoyed giving gifts to show his love for others. He often gave the homeless downtown his new Nike shoes and clothes to keep warm. Jake was so gentle and special to so many people.

Services will be held at Keltys First Baptist Church Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. for the visitation and 11:00 a.m. for the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bill or Karen Walsh as they take care of the funeral expenses @Karen-Walsh-77.
