Funeral services for Jackie Faye (Scogin) Cochran, 76, of Huntington will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Brad Forrest officiating. Interment will follow in the Cochran Cemetery.
Mrs. Cochran was born March 11, 1942 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Irene (Hopson) and Jack Scogin, and died Monday, June 18, 2018 at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Angelina County and retired from the Lufkin State Supported Living Center. Mrs. Cochran enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, fishing and crafting. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lufkin Chapter 382 and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Weisinger of Zavalla, Dede and Mike Scogin, Missy and Joe Amoe, all of Huntington; grandchildren, Brandy Smith and husband Brian, Shelby Scogin and wife Krysti, Megan Scogin, Jesus Martinez, Gary Amoe, Justin Amoe and Josh Amoe; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Pat Scogin of Hudson, Don and Carol Scogin of Central, Ronnie and Kerrie Scogin of Lufkin; her love for the past 14 years, Jerry Phillips of Huntington; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bert Cochran; and brother, Walter Scogin.
Pallbearers will be Brian Frayley, Louis Randolph, Ken Stevens, Phil Lawson, Slim Glover, and Jerry Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Henry Loving and Jesus Martinez.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
