Jack Clayton Washmon, Jr. 76, of Milam died Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Lufkin. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Washmon was born December 11, 1944 in Houston, Texas to the late Flaral (Miller) and Jack Clayton Washmon, Sr.
Mr. Washmon was a heavy equipment operator for North Houston Pole Line. His passion in life was bass fishing. He was a member of the Houston Two of Us Bass Club and participated in the Texas State Bass Tournament for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Washmon of Milam; son, Jason Washmon of Lufkin; grandchildren, Jessilyn Washmon, Jaiden Washmon; son, Jeffrey Washmon; grandson, Jarrod Washmon; brothers, Jerry Washmon, Justin Washmon, Jonas Washmon, Jade Washmon and wife Alicia; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeldon Washmon.
