Jack J. "Jackie" Bouslog

Funeral services for Jack J. “Jackie” Bouslog, 60, of Huntington will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Katelyn McWilliams, Art Nelson, and Ashley Rains officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Jackie was born April 27, 1961 in Liberty, Texas to Bettie Jo (McKey) and William Jack Bouslog, and died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his residence.

Jackie worked for Lufkin Workshop and Opportunity Center, which later became Gateway Community Partners, for 44 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church Lufkin.

Survivors include his father, Jack Bouslog of Lufkin; brother Richard Bouslog of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Danny Weeks of Kilgore, JoAnn and Charles Montes of Huntington; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bettie Bouslog; brother, Bill Bouslog; and niece, Windi Bouslog.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Weeks, Kirt Goleman, James Patterson, Michael Fitzgerald, Devin Montes, and Ryan Montes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Weeks and Ben Conley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Whitehouse Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 1283, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family would like to express special thanks to Ricki Goleman and Trey Patterson for their unyielding care in his final weeks. Also, special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
