Irma Sarmiento

Graveside services for Irma (Constante) Sarmiento, 61, of Lufkin will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Chaplain Stephen Willis officiating.

Mrs. Sarmiento was born July 1, 1956 in Raymondville, Texas to the late Juanita (Garcia) and Flumencio Constante, Sr., and died Thursday, June 7, 2018 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Sarmiento was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her husband, Rogaciano Sarmiento of Lufkin; daughter, Juliana Lomas and husband Eddie of Lufkin; sons, Jorge Castellanos, Sr. and wife Betty of Lufkin and Noe Castellanos and wife Ashley of Brenham; grandchildren, Bianca Jasso, Samantha Padilla, Jorge Castellanos, Jr., Samantha Castellanos, Sebastian Castellanos, Sandra Castellanos, and Adrian Castellanos; siblings, Lydia Medina and Flumencio Constante, Jr., both of Lufkin, and Mary Jane Constante and Jose Constante, both of Harlingen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Freddy Acosta and Guadalupe Acosta.

Pallbearers will be Jorge Castellanos, Noe Castellanos, Eddie Lomas, Flumencio Constante, Jr., and Jose Constante.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
