Hazel Audrey Johnson Bethea

Hazel Audrey Johnson Bethea, 69, of Lufkin died Friday, January 19, 2018. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bethea was born May 27, 1948 in Houston, Texas to the late Hazel Audrey (Goss) and Benjamin Barnett Johnson, and died Friday, January 19, 2018 in Spring.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Robert Bethea of Lufkin; daughters, Diana Jones and husband Grant of Lufkin and Jessica Swearingen and husband Mike of Conroe; grandchildren, Dustin Kyle Scupak, Dayton Michael Scupak, Ashley Swearingen, and Michael Swearingen, Jr.; sisters, Bobbie Loafman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gladys Johnson and Rhoda Dunaway, both of Spring; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
