Harry Bayard Reed, Jr.

Graveside services with inurnment for Harry Bayard Reed, Jr., 76, of Huntington will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gann Cemetery with military honors. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Reed was born January 31, 1947 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to the late Gwendolyn (Haltom) and Harry Bayard Reed, Sr., and died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at his residence. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired pipefitter.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Jane Nutt; son, Patrick Wade Nutt and wife Allison; granddaughters, Serina Nutt and Zoie Nutt; sisters, Patricia Ann (Reed) Burgess, Sandra Kay (Reed) Scott, and Rebecca Jo (Reed) Smith; brother, George Raymond Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Edward Reed.

Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Nutt, Gerald Gilbert, Doug Friday, Travis Stewart, James McMullen, and Jamie McGuire.
