Guadalupe J Vallejo

Mass of Christian Burial for Guadalupe J Vallejo, 62, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Raymundo Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.

Mr. Vallejo was born June 3, 1955 in Valtierra, GTO, Mexico to the late Candelaria (Barron) and Rafeal Vallejo, and died Friday, April 27, 2018 in a local hospice facility.

He had resided in Lufkin and owned his own landscaping business for over 40 years. He like baseball and enjoyed working. He loved his family and was a true family man. He enjoyed going to his church, St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Simona Vallejo of Lufkin; daughters, Reyna Vallejo and husband Jared Wilkinson of Louisiana and Teresa Bentley and husband Terry of Lufkin; son, Carlos Salazar of Lufkin; grandchildren, Shaun Salazar and wife Katlin, Amber Flores and husband Chris, Tanisha Gonzalez, Kourtnee White, and Roland Wilkinson; eight great-grandchildren; twelve brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Johnny Salazar.

Pallbearers will be Shaun Salazar, Manuel Vallejo Barron, Juan Barron, Diego Vallejo, Jorge Vallejo, and Luis Vallejo.
