Grace Mcvey Romund

Funeral services for Grace McVey Romund, 80, of Crockett will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Danny Cryer officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Creek Cemetery in Austonio.

Ms. Romund was born January 19, 1938 in Crockett, Texas to the late Lottie (Cornwell) and Robert McVey, and died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Austin.

Ms. Romund had worked for Lockheed Martin for four years and numerous jobs throughout her life.

Survivors include her son, Pete Odstrcil and wife Nita Jo of Huntington; grandchildren, Lendy Ward and husband Chris of Hudson, Brent Odstrcil and Kelley Moon of Central Heights, Jessica House and husband Shane of McKinney, Jaime Lee and husband Curtis of Little Elm, Christina Duron and husband Mario of San Antonio, and Artie Miller of Buffalo; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby McVey and wife Bonnie of Smithville; sister, Patsy Ann Meuth of Red Rock; special friends, Charane and Bob Antley; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Connie Harper, Cathy Hale, and Debbie Miller; and grandson, Anthony Bailey.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ward, Shane House, Brent Odstrcil, James Wood, Derrick Black, Curtis Lee, Jorryn Odstrcil, and Mario Duron.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning prior to the services.
