Glenn Drysdale

Memorial services for Glenn Drysdale, 60, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Richard Owen officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Glenn was born April 4, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Teressa Louise (Connell) and William Glenn Drysdale, Sr., and died Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his residence.

Glenn resided in Lufkin most of his life. He worked in  car sales for Lone Star Auto Salvage. Glenn loved watching football and car racing and enjoyed going hunting, fishing and dancing.

Survivors include  his sons, Sam Drysdale of Beaumont, Lance Gresham and wife Callie of Crockett; eight grandchildren; brothers, David Drysdale of Lufkin, Rodney Cearley of Fort Worth; sisters, Stacie Cearley of Marshall, Sharon Whitehead of Nacogdoches; nieces and nephews, Crystal Salinas, Richie Whitehead, Cindy Cearley, Donovan Cearley, Brody Butler, Sarah Johnson, Samantha Johnson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Ben Williams; and dear friends, David Ray Melton, Bubba Smith, and Michael McKnight.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Carroway Funeral Home to help cover Glenn’s funeral expenses.

Solid Rock Family Church of Lufkin will be accepting food for the family. Food may be dropped off at the church Thursday morning at 3476 TX-103, Lufkin, Texas.
