Glenda Sue (Hudson) Jones

Glenda Sue (Hudson) Jones, 74, of Pollok died Thursday, February 19, 2026 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Glenda was born May 12, 1951 in Marshall, Texas to Susie Irene (Stanton) and Joseph Walter Hudson, Jr.

Glenda worked as a florist for Everything Grows Florist in Lufkin, Texas and later moved to Fredericksburg, Texas where she worked as an office manager for Cardiologist, Dr. Mell Jackson.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Brandon and Christy Jones, Jason and Gina Jones, Matthew and Shyanne Smith; grandchildren, Natalie Jones and fiancé Hunter Due, Lindsey and Carter Vaughan, and Kaiser Smith; great-grandchild, Valerie Vaughan; brothers, Randy Hudson, Ronald and Shena Hudson, and Doug Burdette; nephews, Randall Hudson and John Hudson; nieces, Ashley Hudson Larson and Alyssa Hudson Ervin; the father of her children, Franklin Jones; along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. Hudson and Sue Feltner; her sister, Deborah Wiginton; and brother, Joey Hudson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
