Gerry Nell Bynum

Graveside services for Gerry Nell Bynum, 61, of Nacogdoches will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Luman officiating.

Ms. Bynum was born September 10, 1964 in Lufkin, Texas to Norma “Judy” (Lucas) and Joe P. Bynum, Sr., and died Sunday, May 10, 2026 at her residence.

Ms. Bynum loved flowers. She was very caring and generous and loved to give back. She selected children from the Angel Tree every Christmas. She loved everyone around her, and to know her was to love her.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cambierlie and Alex Diaz; grandsons, Kaleb Nichols, Kole Nichols, and Keaton Nichols; brothers and sister-in-law, Joe P., Jr. and Michele Bynum, and Jerry Bynum; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbi and Sam Bridges; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at Carroway Funeral Home.
