Funeral services for Frankie (Williams) Bickley, 86, of Pollok will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. In the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with her son, Reverend Keith Bickley, and grandson, Reverend Ryan Lavin, officiating. Interment will follow in Gann Cemetery.

Frankie was born June 2, 1939 in Zavalla, Texas to the late Glenice (Cochran) and Frank Williams, and died Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in a local nursing home.

Apart from a few years working at Kelco Printers, Frankie “Granny Bick” lived a life of adoring and loving her large family, along with many neighbors and friends. The height of her life was serving the Lord and loving her husband and four children.

Granny Bick had compassion for others, including animals. She refused to allow anyone to go hungry, regardless of the circumstances or time of day. The essence of her character and life was living by the fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

His master replied, well done, good and faithful servant…come and share your Master’s happiness. Matthew 25:21

Survivors include her sons, World Peace of Jasper, son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Keith and Karen Bickley of Pollok; daughter, Sherice Burton of Pollok; daughter-in-law, Suzie Bickley of Lufkin; grandchildren and spouses, Rev. Ryan Lavin of Pollok, Michael and Destiny Burton of Cleveland, Kori and Kenneth Owens of Santa Fe, Keri Bickley of Ratcliff, Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Bickley, serving in Guantanamo Bay Cuba, Adam and Dana Bickley of Lufkin, Tony and Sonya Bickley of Spring, Jessica Bickley of Livingston, Amber and Will Price of Lufkin, Tara and Jason Pope of Huntington, Jill Ann and Jimmy Brantner of Lufkin, and Beau Bickley of Lufkin; twenty-four great-grandchildren; sisters and brother- in-law, Gay and Glen Walker, Kay and Burlon Jones, and Jessica and Robert Gavette; brothers and sister-in-law, Frank Williams, Jr. and Jess and Lou Anne Williams; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, James Richard Bickley; son, Rev. Wayne Bickley; granddaughter, Valerie Nicole Burton; great-granddaughter, Lilly Rose Bickley; and sister, Glenda Demaree.

Pallbearers will be Adam Bickley, Tony Bickley, Michael Burton, Jace Ditsworth, Cooper Bickley, and Barret Price.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandson, Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Bickley, and other great-grandsons.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
