Frank Beathard

Funeral services for Charles Randall “Frank” Beathard, 61, of Pollok will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Boone, Karen Shumaker, Pastor Josh McNeely, and Pastor Kaice Farhat officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.

Frank was born July 12, 1962 in Conroe, Texas to the late Robbie Jean (Adams) and Joseph Columbus Beathard, and died Thursday, April 11, 2024 in a Dallas hospital.

Frank worked in Alaska for the past 25 plus years as an instrument technician. The last 10 years he was employed with ConocoPhillips. He had a special bond with the group he worked with and lifelong friendships have been made.

He had many hobbies including camping, fishing, and carpentry. Above all of this, he loved his grandchildren and spoiled them rotten. He loved his kids dearly, but always joked about how much better the grandchildren are.

Frank and Sheryl were the loves of each other’s life. However, he always loved her “more”. She was only allowed to love him “more” on Wednesdays.

He loved helping people when he could and never wanted recognition. He was a good time and the best times always happened on the porch. He was always “lucky”. No one could ever bet against him even though his sons always tried!

His mother taught him about Jesus and His Amazing Grace. He continued to strengthen his relationship later in life going to Cornerstone with Sheryl when he could.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl (Byrd) Beathard of Pollok; son and daughter-in-law, Brandall and Morgan Beathard of Pollok; daughters and sons-in-law, Rena and Jimmy Wilson of San Antonio, and Alyssa and Dexter Rodrigues of Wells; grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Chase Wilson, Skyler Beathard, Kyndal Beathard, Brody Beathard, Casyn Rodrigues, and Brycen Rodrigues; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Jo Beathard of Alabama, and Norma Jean and Glen Crosby of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Terri Beathard of Wells; mother-in-law who was more like a mom, Glenda Byrd of Wells; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Blake Beathard; brother, Gary Wayne Beathard; and father-in-law, who was like a father, Don Byrd.

Pallbearers will be Brandall Beathard, Brody Beathard, Randy Garner, Raymond Bell, Uncle Frank Cruz, Larry Glenn Flournoy, Robbie Crawford, and Josh Bell.

Honorary pallbearer will be Frank Hibdon.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
