A Celebration of Life for Frances J. (Longino) Chandler, 77, of Corrigan, Texas will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Corrigan Family Life Center with Brother Charlie Hodge officiating. Frances was born May 13, 1948, in Coushatta Louisiana, to gracious parents, Boyd and Pauline Longino, and died Friday, December 5, 2025 in Katy, Texas.

Frances married the love of her life, the late William Charles Chandler, in 1965. Celebrating 46 years of marriage, together they built their home and welcomed three exceptional children.

Frances worked at the Corrigan-Camden School Cafeteria where she made sure no child went hungry. Not only did she feed the children, she fed everyone her passion and love for life. Yes, it’s possible to feed the soul. She shared her love of Jesus with whomever would listen. Frances’ heart was made of the purest of gold. She gloried in everyone’s happiness and success. She interceded in prayer on your behalf if she knew you were sad or sick. She immediately went to our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. She knew He could and would take care of everything so He would receive the glory!

Frances is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Tom Mrazik of Deale, Maryland; her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Kelly Chandler of Corrigan, Texas; grandchildren, Josh Mrazik of Castle Rock, Colorado; Heather Castle and husband Dustin of Frederick, Maryland; Kyle Chandler and wife Sara of Corrigan, Texas; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Castle, Kayden Castle, and Gracie Castle; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Longino of Coushatta, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, William Charles Chandler; her daughter, Stacie Chandler; and her brother, Waymon Longino.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Chandler, Tom Mrazik, Josh Mrazik, Bush Smitherman, Andy Langston, Justin Vanleuven and Jason Lawson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Lawson, Richard Longino, Jim Brock, Ron Green, Jimmy Chandler, Glenn Sanford and Tracy Gossett.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Andy and Kay Langston for the unwavering love, support, and kindness they have shown them throughout the years. Andy and Kay’s steady presence, generous hearts, and willingness to walk beside them in both joyful and difficult seasons has been a true blessing.
