Funeral services for Floy Bernice “Bee” Garner Cunningham Wiegers, 83, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ron Meadows officiating. A private burial will be held at a later time in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mrs. Wiegers was born February 28, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Katherine Charity and Edgar Hayes Garner, and died Thursday, October 12, 2017 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Wiegers was raised in Mauriceville. She had resided in Sugarland for 15 years prior to moving to Lufkin in 1993. She was a Hostess for Wal-Mart and Sam’s for six years. Mrs. Wiegers was a member of the Esther Sunday School Class at Denman Avenue Baptist Church.
The family would like to express their appreciation to her doctors, Dr. Karl Krohn and Dr. Jose Capellan, and the staff of Trinity Mission and Rehabilitation of Diboll.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Dessie Garner of Buna; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Dean Wiegers; son, John Cunningham, Jr.; brothers, John Edgar Garner, Sr., Earl H. Garner, Bobby G. Garner, and Jerry W. Garner; and sisters, Katherine Neel and Grace McClellan.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon prior to the services at the funeral home.
