Felipa (Padron) Hernandez

Mass of Christian Burial for Felipa (Padron) Hernandez, 68, of Lufkin will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Joe Kannampuzha officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Hernandez was born May 26, 1952 in San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Juana (Martinez) and Juan Padron, and died Friday, January 1, 2021 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. Hernandez worked for Pilgrim’s Pride. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Mrs. Hernandez was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ebodio Hernandez of Lufkin; children and spouses, Martin Claudio and Martina Padron of Lufkin, Gudelia and Ranulfo Rodriquez of Hudson, Faviola and Jaime Orta of Lufkin, Elvia and Alejandro Monsivais of Houston, Jennifer Hernandez and Jose Olivares of Lufkin, Patricia and Thomas Alexander Grissom of Tyler; grandchildren, Martin, Mayra, Kate, Lindsey, Enrique, Jennifer, Leonardo, Carlos, Bryan, Valeria, Isabel, Lyzden, Baltazar, Estela, Danielle, Arysbella, Victor, Caleb, Tyler, Yizel, Jiovanni, Emmaly, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Rihemie, Martin Jr., Dahlia, Sebastian, Addison, Audrey, Alexia, Adalynn, Baltazar Jr., Anngelicca, Aryanna, Alyzai; two brothers; four sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Claudio Padron, Alejandro Monsivais, Ranulfo Rodriguez, Jaime Orta, Alexander Grissom, Pedro Padron, Jose Olivares, and Antolin Padron.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Carroway Funeral Home. The family requests everyone wear a mask, follow all social distancing guidelines, and have no physical contact with them.
