Era Mae Stubblefield

Graveside services for Era Mae Stubblefield, 85, of Pollok will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gann Cemetery with Brother Keith Bickley officiating.

Mrs. Stubblefield was born December 14, 1937 in Flat, Texas to the late Unia (Beasley) and Ernest Lee Whaley, and died Friday, August 11, 2023 in a local facility.

Mrs. Stubblefield spent her life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be dearly missed. Mrs. Stubblefield was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Lufkin.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Stubblefield and wife Tammy, Kathy Spencer and husband Keith, Rickey Stubblefield and wife Leslie, Danny Stubblefield and wife Rhonda; grandchildren, Megan Hart, Jennifer Leah Stubblefield, Chase Aldredge, Michael Spencer, Jay Spencer, Josh Stubblefield, Jacob Stubblefield, Waylon Stubblefield, Ryan Walton, Cory Walton; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Whaley; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Slim” Stubblefield; four sisters; and three brothers.

Honorary pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren.
