Funeral services for Eloise Maxine (Frauenberger) Magaldi Havard, 90, of Lufkin will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Brother Charles M. Roberts officiating.
Mrs. Havard was born May 14, 1926 in Nowata, Oklahoma to the late Gladys (Waters) and Melvin Frauenberger, and died Monday, April 24, 2017 at her daughter’s residence in Smithville.
Mrs. Havard retired from 1st City Bank in Lufkin and then worked at the Museum of East Texas. She loved to dance, paint, garden, travel with her sister, and spend time with family. Mrs. Havard was a member of Denman Avenue Baptist Church, where she taught the 5 year old Sunday school class for over 30 years.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly Magaldi and Patrick McAlister of Smithville and Connie and Ron Hopson of Lufkin; granddaughter, Kristen Hopson Miles and husband Seth of Bryan; grandson, Nicholas Hopson and Brianna Forsyth of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, Zach Miles, Ronin Miles, both of Bryan, and Kenley Hopson of Lufkin; sister-in-law, Beverly Frauenberger of Pearland; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Leo Magaldi; second husband, Herlon “Boots” Havard; brothers, George Frauenberger and Dennis Frauenberger; and sister, Sandra Spano.
