Edward Sherman Samuel Ballenger

Edward Sherman Samuel Ballenger, 78, of Lufkin died Thursday, October 25, 2018 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Ballenger was born August 17, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Pearl (Stogdill) and Karl Kenneth Ballenger. Mr. Ballenger owned and operated his own business and was an Appliance Repairman.

Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Ballenger and Chance Norton of Lufkin; son, Kevin Ballenger of Lufkin; stepdaughters, Ashley and Terry Barlow of Beaumont, and Amanda Buck of Beaumont; stepson, Zachery Buck of Beaumont; grandchildren, Lilly Norton and Ryland Ballenger, both of Lufkin; sisters, JoAnn Curtis, Barney Ballenger, and Evelyn Ballenger; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
