Graveside services for Earline C. Bowman, 92, of Lufkin, formerly of Houston, will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the South Park Cemetery in Pearland with Pastor Howard Huhn officiating.
Mrs. Bowman was born January 25, 1926 in Smithville, Texas to the late Velma (Fogle) and Joseph Childers, and died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at The Joseph House. A resident of Houston most of her life, Mrs. Bowman had resided in Lufkin for 2 1/2 years. She enjoyed dancing, fishing and traveling. Mrs. Bowman was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Byford Sheffield of Huntington and Jan and Mark Lybarger of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Yvonne Bowman of Spring; grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie and Scott Kraynak, Douglas and Kimberly Sheffield, Shelley and Jon Agnew; great-grandchildren, Alex Kraynak, Jason Kraynak, Mark Bevis, Katie Agnew, Micayla Agnew, and Madylynn Agnew; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Charles Bowman; three brothers; and four sisters.
Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Sheffield, Scott Kraynak, Jon Agnew, Alex Kraynak, Jason Kraynak, and Mark Bevis.
