Dustin Wayne Havard

Funeral services for Dustin Wayne Havard, 32, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at New Life Church on the Rock with Pastor Chance Abbott officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Dustin was born February 23, 1987 in Lufkin, Texas to Kina LaDale (Capps) and Jesse Wayne Havard, and died Monday, March 11, 2019 in a local hospital.

Dustin was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and loved East Texas. He was an HVAC Technician at Bentley’s Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and started his own company, Texas Woodpeckers. His natural talent showed in everything he did. His passions were working with wood and leather, playing guitar and singing, and being outdoors, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his father, Jesse Havard and wife Carmen of Zavalla; mother, Kina Funk and husband Raymond of Kingwood; daughters, Josie Havard and Tori Havard, both of Lufkin, and Anna Marie Havard of Diboll; fiancée, Haley Holcombe of Hudson; stepdaughter, Chelsea Troy of Hudson; sister, Mary Elizabeth Havard of Kingwood; brothers, Kevin McGaughey of Huntington and Cody Allphin of Houston; stepsister, Taliah Funk of Spring; grandmother, Betty Havard of Diboll; great-grandparents, Howard and Mary Hamilton of Woodville; best friend, Jon Swint of Kingwood; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marley Havard; brother, Andrew Allphin; and grandparents, Brenda Nash, Lonnie Capps, and Troy Havard.

Pallbearers will be Kevin McGaughey, Cody Allphin, Jon Swint, Andrew Kee, German Enriquez, Bryant Chauvin, William Self, and Micheal James.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
