Funeral services for Dorothy Thigpen Hopson, 87, of Lufkin will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Lufkin First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow at Gann Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon prior to the services.

Mrs. Hopson was born September 9, 1938 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Sunday, October 19, 2025 in a local nursing home.
