The family of Dorothy Bourne Everett, 95, of Huntington, will welcome friends and loved ones from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, April 6, 2019, at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington.
Dorothy left this life for her heavenly home on Thursday, April 4, 2019. She was born December 4, 1923, to Joe and Pauline Bourne in Laurel, Montana. She was a proud World War II Veteran, serving as a decoder in the Women’s Army Corps. She enjoyed many hobbies including photography, cooking, sewing, reading, painting, dancing, crocheting, playing the organ and harmonica, and singing.
Survivors include her daughter, Ginger Dean and husband Douglas of Lufkin; grandchildren, Tracy Moss and husband Chris of Lufkin, Jason Dean and wife Jenny of Parker, Colorado and Jared Dean and wife Angela of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Sloan Moss, Dean Moss, Anslea Dean, Addley Dean, Ashbee Dean, Emmy Dean and Andi Kate Dean; sisters, Delores Kautzmann and Betty Mehling, both of Billings, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pauline Bourne (Barney); son, Earl Everett, Jr.; husband, Earl Everett, Sr.; brother, Raymond Bourne; and sisters, Irene Hegg and Elaine Stellingwerf.
