Doris Fay (Jones) Herring Reppond

Graveside services for Doris Fay (Jones) Herring Reppond, 90, of Pollok will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Berry Cemetery with Brother Kenneth Mayo officiating.

Mrs. Reppond was born January 15, 1928 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Zettie (Nerren) and Champ Jones, and died Thursday, June 14, 2018 in a local nursing home. She was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. Mrs. Reppond was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Holloway of Huntington, Linda and Wayne Madden of Pollok, Jean and Tommy Boles of Diboll, Vickie Rector of Pollok, Melodey and Amos Wallace of Pollok; sons and daughters-in-law, Rickie and Debra Herring of Huntington, Richard and Lisa Herring of Etoile, Grady and Brenda Herring of Pollok, Randy and Toni Herring of Lufkin; 40 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Herring; sons, Jerry Herring and Joe Herring; and grandson, Trenton McCaa.

Pallbearers will be Rickie Herring, Richard Herring, Grady Herring, Randy Herring, Kenneth Nerren, and Mark Nerren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Herring, Ralph Adams and Tracey Nerren.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning at Carroway Funeral Home.
