Doris Bennett Loeffler

Funeral services for Doris Bennett Loeffler, 63, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bennie Boles officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Loeffler was born April 28, 1955 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Mabel (Turner) and John Richmond Bennett, and died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Loeffler was a lifelong resident of Lufkin. She retired from East Texas Printing after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a very loving, caring person with such a sweet soul. She adored her grandchildren, whom affectionately called her “Nana”. She was a very devoted and loving caregiver to her husband, Charles.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Charles Loeffler of Lufkin; daughter, Jennifer Mangrum and husband Mark of Lufkin; son, Brad Loeffler and wife Christie of Lufkin; grandchildren, Lauren Loeffler, Jaylyn Jones, Brailey Loeffler, Autumn Loeffler, Justin Mangrum, Madison Mangrum, Madison Grady, and Dillon Grady; great-granddaughter, Tensley Rosales; sisters, Billie Jean Scogins, Linda Stephens, and Carolyn Whisenant and husband Jerry, all of Lufkin; brother-in-law, Willard Anderson of Lufkin; sisters-in-law, Barbara Walker of Lufkin, Ruth Daumas of Missouri, and Lillian Saathoff of Hondo; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Barrett and Annette Anderson; and brother, Carl Bennett.

Pallbearers will be Justin Mangrum, Dillon Grady, Todd Walker, Russell Knott, Donald Pittmon, and Barry Pope.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
