Doris "Jean" Hall

Graveside services for Doris “Jean” Hall, 87, of Houston will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll with Brother David Mahfood officiating. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Tyland Baptist Church in Tyler.

Mrs. Hall was born June 21, 1936 in Diboll, Texas to the late John Preston and Ruth (Stanaland) Morris, and went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 31, 2023 in Houston.

Her love language was cooking, and she loved to cook for others. Mrs. Hall loved the Lord, and she served Him in several churches in several different areas.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Marie Hall, and Norman and Robyn Hall; daughters and sons-in-law, Stacey and Jeff Hastings, and Joni and Chad Lormand; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, Norman B. Hall II; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters; and a son-in-law.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Hall, John Hall, Jeff Hastings, Chad Lormand, Brant Hall, Brook Hall, Jonathan Hall-Hastings, Jacob Lormand, Cullen Molinar, and Micajah Berry.
