Funeral services for Donna Loretta (Chandler) Reynolds, 85, of Corrigan will be held Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church Corrigan with Brother Gary Forrest and Eulogist Tracy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery.
Donna Loretta (Chandler) Reynolds was born August 1, 1941 in Camden, Texas to the late Lorene (Roberts) and Donis Chandler, and passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026 in Livingston, Texas.
On November 30, 1962, she married the love of her life, Billy, with whom she shared a beautiful life filled with deep devotion and family. She retired from International Paper in Corrigan, Texas after many years of dedicated service, serving as the Plant Secretary before moving into a Shipping Supervisor role.
A woman of deep faith, she was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church Corrigan. She poured her heart into her community by teaching children’s Sunday school and Vacation Bible School for many years, leaving a lasting impact on generations of children.
She loved her family fiercely and never met a stranger. Known for her warmth and hospitality, if you knew her, there is a very good chance you were blessed to sit and enjoy some of her homemade sweet tea.
Survivors include her loving husband, Billy; son, DeWayne Reynolds (Lisa); daughter, Tami Attaway (Marcus); granddaughter, Sara Reynolds (Jonathan); granddaughter, Erica Lawson (Jay); grandson, Brendan Reavis (Taylor); grandson, Ross Reavis (Chelsea); great-grandchildren, Savanna, Kenna, Leighton, Raegan, Grayson, and Walker; sisters, Jo Holt and Lois Cranford; and many special nieces, nephews, extended family and lifelong dear friend, Dorothy Capers.
She was preceded in death by parents Donis and Lorene Chandler; sisters, baby Leona and Barbara White; and brothers, Donnie and Steve Chandler.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Pine Ridge Health Care for the exceptional compassion and kindness shown to her during her time in their care.
Pallbearers will be Brendan Reavis, Ross Reavis, Jonathan Harder, Jay Lawson, Lance Holt, and Brian Manning.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grayson Brasher and Walker Reavis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her honor to either Pine Ridge Health Care, 1620 US-59 Loop North, Livingston, Texas 77351 or the First Baptist Church Corrigan, 103 North Collins, Corrigan, Texas 75939 or online at www.fbccorrigan.org/give.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday morning prior to the service.
