Donald Earl Caldwell

Memorial services for Donald Earl Caldwell, 84, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother John Wayland officiating, under the auspices of the Angelina Masonic Lodge #1263 A.F. & A.M. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Caldwell was born February 27, 1939 on a farm in Shelby County, Texas to the late Gertrude Gladys (Agnew) and Guy Walton Caldwell, and died Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Nacogdoches.

Formerly of Pasadena, Mr. Caldwell had resided in Huntington for more than 30 years. He retired from the Pasadena Police Department following 30 years as a Police Officer and then Detective. Mr. Caldwell was a member of the Angelina Masonic Lodge #1263 A.F. & A.M. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Jo Evelyn Boreta of California; son, George Caldwell of Huntington; four grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Joan Caldwell of Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, and four brothers.
