Delilah Mishelle Olivares

Mass of Christian Burial for Delilah Mishelle Olivares, 10, of Diboll will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Gavin Vaverek and Fr. Raymundo Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel.

Delilah was born February 22, 2007 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Sunday, May 7, 2017 in a local hospice facility. She loved reading, drawing, and arts and crafts. Delilah was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include her parents, Gerard Olivares, Sr. and Patricia Flores of Diboll; brothers, Juan Cruz and Gerard Olivares, Jr., both of Diboll; sister, MaKenzie Olivares of Diboll; grandparents, Gerardo and Eugenia Olivares of Diboll; aunts and uncles, Cynthia Rodriguez of Diboll, Beatrice Rodriguez and Raul Orta, Sonya and Ronnie Fuentes, all of Lufkin, Harvey and Candy Olivares of Diboll, Austroberto and Maria Flores, Maria Luz Flores, Reinaldo and Nelida Flores, Jaime Flores, David Sovereen, Veronica Flores, Jesus and Lidia Flores, and Richard and Zaida Flores, all of Lufkin; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesus and Josefa Flores; and uncle, Rudy Rodriguez.

Pallbearers will be Juan Cruz, Reinaldo Flores, Jesus Flores, and Harvey Olivares.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerardo Olivares, Sr., Austroberto Flores, and Richard Flores.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2118 Lowry Street, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home, before and after the Rosary.
