Debora Lynn "Debbie" Brasher

Memorial services for Debora Lynn “Debbie” Brasher, 67, of Burke will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Trey Thompson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Debbie was born March 14, 1959 in Greenville, Mississippi to the late Juanita Janice (Weatherford) and William Clark Peebles, and died Monday, September 21, 2026 at her residence.

Although Debbie was born in Greenville, Mississippi, she resided in Burke most of her life. She graduated from Diboll High School and attended Angelina College. Her entire career, she worked in the medical field, recently retiring as a Physician Office Administrator at Woodland Heights Medical Center. She was a very dedicated employee and had the opportunity to train many people over the years. Debbie loved to shop, especially with her family and friends. She loved to read anything she could get her hands on, most particularly mystery and murder mystery books. She loved spending time with her son, and they went on many cruises together, just getting back from an Alaska cruise. But really, most of all, she loved to be with her son while she ate her corndogs and watched Everybody Loves Raymond. Debbie had a host of friends and everyone who knew her loved her very much. She will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include her son, Josh Brasher of Winter Garden, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and Jimmy Williams of Burke, Brenda and James Price of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning prior to the service.
