David Paul Westmoreland

Graveside services for David Paul Westmoreland, 66 of Lufkin will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Westmoreland was born September 11, 1955 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Opal (Stephens) and O.C. Westmoreland, and died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Westmoreland had worked for Champion Paper Mill and had also been the Manager at Herman Power Tire. He enjoyed gardening, riding motorcycles and socializing, and could build anything, especially fast cars and hot rods.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Barbara Westmoreland of Tyler; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Jerry Herron of Duxbury, Massachusetts; nephews, Shane Herron, Jason Herron, Warren Westmoreland, and Brian Westmoreland; caregivers, Jordan Malone, Stephanie Mullan, and Haley Frazier; and a number of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
