Graveside services with military honors for David Michael O’Brien, 52, of Huntington will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Deacon Gary Trevino officiating.
Mr. O’Brien was born January 29, 1966 in Saginaw, Michigan to Wanda (Condon) O’Brien and the late William Thomas O’Brien, and died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at M.D. Anderson in Houston.
Mr. O’Brien had resided in Huntington for the past two years and previously in Macedonia for seven years. He was a Maintenance Mechanic for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a police officer in Wayne County, Michigan. He was a devoted husband and “tato” and Luka was his world. Mr. O’Brien was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Biljana O’Brien of Huntington; son, Luka Jordanovski-O’Brien of Huntington; mother, Wanda O’Brien of Midland, Michigan; parents-in-law and brother-in-law, Family Jordanovski of Macedonia; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Family Arsic of Macedonia; stepson, Nikola Milosevac of Macedonia; and numerous friends all over the world.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Kelly O’Brien.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
