Darlene Linnstaedter Davis

Darlene Linnstaedter Davis, 84, of Lufkin died Friday, February 6, 2026 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis was born September 4, 1941 in Brenham, Texas to Doris (Eichler) and Albert George Linnstaedter.

Darlene was the mother of five children and spent many years at home raising her family. In her pastime she enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching. She had a strong love for her dogs, who were an important part of her daily life. Darlene was a member of First Lutheran Church of Lufkin.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Wilbur Davis of Lufkin; daughters, Tiffany Oliver of Lufkin, Terry Campbell of Huntington; sons, Greg Davis of Lufkin, Brian Davis and wife Vicki of Huntington, Wilbur Davis, Jr. of Austin; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Mo Oliver.
