Danny Beard

Memorial services for Danny Beard, 74, of Lufkin, who died August 6, 2025, will be held Monday, August 11, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kent Childers officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Danny was born August 5, 1951 in Houston, Texas to the late Edith Jewel (Marshall) and Johnny Beard, and was raised in Zavalla. Danny spent his career caring for others as a Registered Nurse and in his free time he loved playing music with friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Susan Beard; son, Jared Beard and wife Brandy; daughters, Junko Jordon and Jasmine Olalde; grandchildren, Matt Jordon, Austin Jordon, Jaycee Beard, Jaxon Beard; brothers, John Beard and Jimmy Lakey; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
