Daniel Dykes

Memorial services for Daniel Dykes, 53, of Palestine, formerly of Huntington, will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Gann Cemetery.

Mr. Dykes was born February 9, 1971 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late William and Ruby Dykes and passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2024 at UT Health Hospital in Tyler, Texas.

Daniel loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Teri; son, Jacob Dykes of Palestine; stepson and daughter-in-law, Dakota and Jennifer Wagstaff of Jefferson; brothers and sister-in-law, Will Dykes of Tennessee Colony, and Jason and Amanda Dykes of Ohio; three grandchildren; brother/cousin and wife, BW and Cyndi Faulk of Lumberton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and special friend, Daniel Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Tuesday Johnson; aunts and uncles, Elene Ward, Robbie Faulk, Linda and Allen Havard, and Johnny Ward; cousin, Donna Havard; and sister-in-law, Amy Wagstaff.
