Graveside services with military honors for Daniel Alvin Bridges, 75, of Huntington will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Cole Turner officiating.

Mr. Bridges was born September 8, 1948 in Houston, Texas to the late Hattie Mae (Raines) and Dale Henry Bridges, and died Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in a local nursing home.

Danny had resided in Lufkin most of his life and was a Cost Analyst for Consolidated Communications, retiring after 25 years of service. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Danny was a member of Pleasant Grove Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Bridges of Huntington; children and their spouses, Deidra and Wendell Turner of Pollok, Daniel  Bridges, Jr. of Little Elm, Michelle and Calvin Smith of Lufkin,  Trent and Mecka Crawford of Huntington, Anne Marie and Chad Fisher of Lindale; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Bridges of Huntington; sisters, Carol Branton and husband Lee of Nacogdoches, Edna Terrell, Shirley Slaughter, both of Huntington, Mary Bardwell and husband Bill of Lufkin, Brenda Nelson and husband Drew of Cleveland, Ramona Smith and husband David of Splendora; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepmother, Patsy Bridges.
