Crystal Deon Holman

Crystal Deon Holman 38, of Houston, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born in San Augustine, Texas on February 7, 1984 to Marsha Ruth Holman. Crystal attended San Augustine public schools during her elementary and junior high years, then moved to Arlington, Texas, where she graduated from Sam Houston High School class of 2002. Crystal went on to receive a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from University of Texas at Arlington. She was the proud Godmother to Ebony, Timothy, and Destiney Pierce who she was able to see all graduate from high school. Crystal was a wonderful sister, friend and her vivacious and giving spirit will be missed by many.

Crystal loved outdoor sitting on the patio in the mornings and late evenings. She was fascinated by water and described her ideal moment as walking along a lakefront or the beach whenever she had the opportunity to visit either.

Crystal is survived by her mother, Marsha Holman; her maternal brothers, Russell Holman (Debbie), and Christopher Holman; her maternal sister, Valeria Holman; and other family members and friends who loved her and who will cherish her memory.

Her wonderful spirit, joy, and talents were celebrated with a small memorial service on July 9, 2022 that ended with a 38 rainbow balloon release.
